Google "gives finger" to Chinese Censorship! Does Yahoo have the BALLS?
As an expat in China, I’m used to living without Youtube, Facebook and Twitter (all are blocked here).
But I hate the thought of losing Google - my homepage and a site I use almost daily.
Plus, Google offers a service here in China that doesn’t exist anywhere else in the World: google.cn/MUSIC (think i -Tunes… only free!)

However, I would GLADLY sacrifice access to Google if it means making a stand against this CONTEMPTUOUS regime!

The Chinese Communist Party FEARS Google (despite being heavily censored) because it provides too much access to information and freedom of thought.

Google has tolerated Chinese censorship until now, but the last straw came when China hackers recently "cyber-attacked" the e-mail acounts of human rights activists.
Now, Google has declared it will no longer practice self-censorship in China and is prepared to lose access to the World’s largest internet market!!!

So……. when will Yahoo! make a similar stand against this bully?!
Back in 2005, Yahoo! helped the Chinese government send dissident, Shi Tao, to prison:

Good on Google I say! I mean China needs to realize that it cannot continue it’s oppressive regime. And by Google pulling out just shows that the majority of corporations are unwilling to associate themselves with those kind of beliefs. Do you know which web comics I'm talking about?
I’m looking for these two web comics. One is revolved around this guy who gets a red haired girl friend. I cant remember any names but during the story line there is the red-head’s ex boyfriend who tries to kill the guy. The ex has an illegal cybernetic arm. The guy’s friend, dark-skinned and bald has this power which seems to be channeling some other people to help him fight physically. Something about how some people can be heroes while others cant (there was a poster in one of the panels about being tested for it) I think the black guy’s hero name was like Rising Star or something. Anyways, there is also this blonde chick, all dressed in a professional suit and she is trying to hunt the guy down too. However she is being controlled by this person that looks like a living silhouette that can open portals. the same silhouette lady sends these minions after the guy, one who has these goggles and another that is like a walking wolf man who can basically not die because he just breaks apart and seems to be made of some kind of blue goo. Last i saw was the comic possibly died but the last comic was the minions escaping into the portal and the black guy doing this diving punch and just missing as the portal "bloops" out.

The second comic is this paranormal activity control group kinda. The main character was this blonde chick who got in trouble for selling souls or something. this blue substance in jars on ebay or craig’s list. So the group hires her and she is put on a team with a guy who resembles a LOT like kratos from god of war. the other teammate is like this jawa guy with this gas mask on. She also makes a friend in the paranormal group who turns out to be a Wood Nymph or something that carries her little tree which is connected to her spirit-wise. She cant go too far away from it and she calls it Steve and tries to have it do human things too. Teh wood nymph has long brown hair and white skin. She also has like i think two leaves on the top of her head. I have a nagging feeling like the title was "something panic" but im not sure. Oh, and the Kratos guy when he got in a fight with the posessed lake, he had to eat some of the dead bodies that hte lake had at the bottom so he could store up on "health". The comic was also introducing some new characters, one girl with purple hair and this sharp shooter dude, cant remember what his paranormal problem was. Relationship advice needed! Dont know whether to stay or go?
Im 15, 16 in febuary, and me and my girlfriend have been together for around a year and 3 months.
In that time weve broken up a few times before and now im confused as to whether the relationship is working or not.
We tend to argue a fair amount, and alot of the time over fairly small things.
We tend to make up afterwards and have around 5 days - a week before another arguement. Its been like this for about 4 months and although we used to work fantasticly in the early stages i now wonder what is the best thing to do.
Most of my friends seem to not want to voice thier opinion on the matter, although a couple have said we should stay, whilst a couple also have their doubts and arent so sure.
My girlfriend really wants to make it work and loves me, and upon calling her up last week to consider breaking up she convinced me we should try again. we were set to meet up today however due to differant factors we had an arguement. At school we tend to kiss but no more and Ive reached the point where u dont know what to do
As you can imagine, it feels like a big thing to break up with her as weve been together so long, plus ive never broken up with people much before.

This past Christmas dinner everyone was implying that they thought i was pregnant?
So here’s an over all over view of what I’m talking about….
On December 26 of this year I went to my dad’s side of the family’s family dinner with my boyfriend.
Now as I am 17 and he’s 20 my family welcomed him with opening arms.
Heck my Aunt was trying to get him to have sex with her…. and she’s in her 50’s or 60’s.haha
So anyway, Of course we all ate are food, I kept getting up and getting more food since ALOT of things weren’t my taste….. like the deviled eggs made me want to puck…..Which is one of my FAVORITE holiday foods…
but like I was saying I kept getting up and getting 2nds on the foods I thought tasted the best…. And I didn’t really think I was eating all that much.
But then there was a mix up with gifts and I ended up not getting anything for a while, and everyone was laughing and yelling she doesn’t have a gift…. and I was trying to fight back the tears because I had no intention for crying in fount of all my family like a kid….. but once they found my gift and handed it to me I LOST IT….. like the water works went flying and I made one of my aunts cry, which was the main one laughing and being loud…..
then my older girl cousins kept smiling, shacking their be heads, and walking away laughing every time I went up to talk to me….which really hurt my feelings, but I held it together….
Okay so later that night one of my cousins who just had a baby made it loud and clear to everyone that she’s been hearing things about me and she wouldn’t name who or what they said….but i and everyone else knew she was saying that she and this other unknown individual think I to be pregnant.
So my boyfriend and I decide that it was time to leave now that people where breaking out the latest gossip *which we both hate*
Once we got into the car I looked at him and said that’s funny that she said all that in there because I’m a week late for my period to start and he looked at me and said"baby I’m here for you and you don’t have to worry if your pregnant or not I’m still here for you" which made me burst into tears again….. So I then told him well lets find out and we went to walmart and got 2 test and i took both at home both came back positive and I ran up stairs had a panic attach in my mom’s room and she and my dad along with my boyfriends mother *his dad had past early this year* All are okay with this and are all excited to be grandparents. so thats not a problem

Okay…..Now my questions are:
When I told my parents they both said they already knew….. as did the rest of the family threw suspicion…
So what was so OBVIOUS that everyone already "knew" before I even got a positive?
P.S.
I haven’t gained any weight yet…. and my ankles where covered.

Well my dear the signs were all over you and they were telling too. First you felt like throwing up while eating food that you would normally enjoy
secondly you were unusually emotional. Tearing up easily can be a side effect of pregnancy for some people.
And lastly the fact that you kept going going for seconds because you were enjoying the food can also be a telling sign. You’ll probably be a big eater while you are pregnant.

I can imagine this was really difficult for you, it’s hardly a daily occurrence. Often after a traumatic event like that it has a major impact on your sleep. I’d suggest taking a sleep aid such as nytol, it may help you get back in-to a routine and move on with things. In the mean time perhaps you should speak to someone about it? someone you can confide with, family member, friends, or even a therapist.
