I’m 25. Finished grad school last year. I stay in shape, but I’ve never dated a woman. I don’t pursue women for sex. I have absolutely no interest in "the game" of seducing women or in casual sex. I want to get married and have kids someday.

My friends say I can’t expect a decent woman to like me and that my standards are too high. Sometimes you may have to stop being shy and start talking to women you may not know. Otherwise you may be alone for a long time.
I used to be that way, shy, quiet, and sit in the background. Then I was introduced to my (now ex) husband and he brought me out of my shell.
If you never talk to a woman in public, you may pass up on your one true love. I would hate to see that happen.
I respect your not wanting to pursue women just for that one "roll in the hay", that is dangerous and stupid in todays world. You could wind up with a kid or a disease, neither one sounds like you are ready for yet.
Maybe you should try online dating sites, but that does not always work. You could try being introduced to women through friends of yours, sometimes that works also.
Just try something, you will be alone for a long time if you don’t. I have been alone now for the last 5 yrs and I like it but I have been out there and dating, even married twice. For someone that has never had a girlfriend, you don’t have to like being alone.
This answer may not make a lot of sense to you, it did in my head but reading it back to myself, sounds like I am rambling. But you have to try something.

The closest guess I could offer would be that there was a localized flood. But I personally don’t buy that there was a mass flood. Really, a lot of things in the Bible don’t match to what we’ve found historically (i.e. the Pharaoh in Exodus dieing at the end).
If you want something a bit ironic, the Egyptians have their own flood myth, as do some other cultures.

Why is it dangerous to run with scissors?
Haha.. My friend was just running with scissors and I was wondering. What if you were being chased by a mass murderer? Would you be allowed to run with scissors then?

Didn’t your mother ever tell you that if you ran with scissors you could poke your eye out? I don’t know why it seemed to be that only you’re eye could get hurt!!! If you are being chased by a mass murderer then I would suggest running with an Uzi.

It’s not the running, but the tripping and falling that is dangerous, and it’s perfectly acceptable if being chased by a mass murderer.
